Getting married, don't really need shocks?
I got about 60K rolling on Tokico Blues. It's fine, but I notice it didn't ride like new when the car was at like 30-60K. I don't need shock now, but since I'm getting married in 2 months, I better get it now. Wife is not going to like the mods, or the fact that I'm spending $$$ that's not part of the wedding. Total mile on car 98K.
Therefore, do you think I'll just be wasting $$$ when changing it? Or should I wait? How long did your shocks last?
Recommend some good (fair price) non-adjust shocks, since I've been "out of the loop" for a few years.
Much Thanks.

those shocks are probably fine still, mostlikley what you are feeling is your bushings gone to ****. Expecialy the trailingarm bushings, those things only stay intact for a couple years it seems like.

EDIT: for some decent cheap shocks kybs are pretty good if you're not dropped 1.5+ inches.

We would need more info on your setup and what you want to do to really recommend a good shock. Someone recommended bilstein's. They are probably the best non-adjustable shock that you will find, but also cost more than most adjustable shocks. I'd say take a look at kyb agxs. They are adjustable, but they are *relatively* inexpensive.

if you read tokicos warranty card it says they are covered from wear and failure. call em up and they may replace them for you. I needed to replace a front shock that blew out and they said to send them both fronts since they have alot of miles on em.
