shifter q
i bought a bushing kit hoping i would get the pieces that go between the shifter and the linkage itself cause i have alot of play right there but i diddnt and i dont know what they are called. Just did an auto to manual in my EG i cant seem to set my linkage right does the CUP side go up or down

What linkage did you use?
Integra?
Because the Integra linkage has a wider fork than Civic linkage. You need to use an Integra shifter with the Integra linkage. Or, alternately, modify the fork.

i diddnt even notice that and yes integra linkage.... ill get the right shifter is it right to be able to pull the shifter up?? cause the ball sits in like a cup that keeps it from falling down but i can pull it up. should i flip the stabilizer part of the linkage so cup faces down? does the ball even go in that cup?

If you also used the Integra shifter, then it's not a problem. I don't know what cars you picked components from.

Are you sure you installed a ball seat on the shifter pivot ball? Part #8 in this diagram:

hmm looks like i need all that... I just have the shifter ball itself.... going into the cup side of the linkage. i dont have part 7 8 9 or 11

where can i get it all? I had a D-series shifter stuck in there to start ill put the b-series one in later tonight see if that fixes it
