Default shift rod removal

94 civic sedan..... Anyone out there knows how to remove the shift rod? (reason because of a slow leak)

yea its a 5spd. i dont think its the shift linkage but its the one coonected to the tranny.

its shift linkage. there's 2 bars. one can be taken off with sockets and the other need some lub.(wd-40, rust eater, pb blaster, etc) and a center punch or a home made tool; pull the rubber boot off and you'll see the cylinder looking pin holding the bar to the tranny. it's also known as the infamous bitch pin.
