alright so first off, dont flame me over this. its not my idea and i personally think it will look like sh*t. .

ok, so a friend of mine wants to put one of those shark-fin euro style antenna's on his EG civic but wants to know what it would look like first, so if anyone has done this to their car (on any 5th or 6th gen civic) and can post a pic, it would be greatly appreciated..

Well, If they still use the same type of antenna plug as a Honda (which I doubt), then it would plug right in. If not, he may need an adapter for the vehicle he got it from to the deck he's putting it in.

putting it in isn't the prob. that he's lookin at, it's about the visual aspect.. he's just never seen it before and would like to before he goes and drills an extra hole in the roof of his car to install it just to decide it looks like sh*t.. ya know. .

IMO it wouldnt fit the car...it looks good on other cars like bmws...but it just would look awkward on an eg...anyways,

someone probably has, but wont admit it on this forum lol. think about it though an eg has more of an old school look to it while that thing looks like it belongs on a new tiburon or something it wont match the car and itll look like rice

i'd tell him to either run the antenna about 6 inches out or get the OEM honda antenna block off or just altogether shave it.
