Yea all you do is take a DA to it and make it level, if his sending it to a machine shop it better be a couple pounds lighter.
Did they ask you to send it out before he did or did he without your concent? If he didnt tell you then you dont have to pay ****.

Did he say "im taking your flywheel to *insert name* machine shop to get your flywheel resurfaced and it will cost you 60 dollars, is that ok?" and did you say "Yes"
If so then you fucked up and you have to pay it. You should ahve said no.

if you want stuff done right then you have to pay for it. If you want it to be 1/2-assed and sanded you should just do the work yourself.

it should be around 60 because most machine shops won't do it for less then 1 hours worth of labor and that should be aroun 50 to 60 dollars

No, that's teh price that I have always paid at this shop, I also have a friend that got his flywheel lightened at a different shop here & it was $35 there I think.

I used to work at a machine shop and it takes less than 10 minutes to resurface a flywheel. What charge $25. $30-40 is fair. $60 is messed up. You should have it done though.

Re: (dantastic)
$60 is a bit high, I would say the going price is around 35-50 tops...I paid 40 a few months back. Sand Paper isn't gonna work, you have to atleast use the DA grinder, but would have to make sure it is flat. I would have just send it to a machine shop as well.

You're gonna hate life when your half-assed effort bites you in the *** and your clutch starts to slip with less then 5k miles on it.....I know I am.
Get it resurfarced.
