could be the injector seals and o rings i'll double check that. running 310cc and i did it myself with the stock O rings and seals. people said its bolt on but i dont know because the 310 injector doesnt go in the O ring where the seals connects to the intake manifold. its a bit off but theres no leak of gasoline there either. thank you for the reply.

keep it comming please...

Maybe because you're running huge *** injectors? Maybe all that extra fuel is creating an odor.

If you smell gas in the exhaust, the engine is running rich. Smelling gas under the hood strongly suggests a gas leak. Check the injector O-rings and all gas line connections at the fuel filter and rail.

Follow your nose!!! lol, common places to leak are at the fuel rail where the line comes in because i had one there, as well as the banjo on top of the fuel filter. Seriously though, follow your nose lol

ummm maybe its just running rich.. then..but it smells a little bit from the fuel rail which nothing is leaking from there. cause i dont see any gasoline leaking or wet spots. thank you for the message.

i dont want to get high on gasoline. i try that and i also check the fuel rail with any wet spots or leaking. i see nothing leaking just smells like gasoline a little bit. but im hoping it'll be safe to drive around.

thanks for the reply

310cc injectors aren't huge by any standard, but even if you were running something large like a set of 1000cc injectors (as i am), you shouldnt smell gas. I had a similar issue and found that i had a slight leak at one of the injector O-rings. It may be hard to locate, but if you let the car idle and watch carefully, you will hopefully find your issue.

If the car is running rich, it will smell of unburnt gas which, in my opinion, has a distinctly different smell than fresh gasoline. You should be able to easily tell the difference...

ummm good point...im pretty sure it has to be the fuel rail o rings. maybe i should just reinstall all those.. thank you..1000cc is to much XD...i would just go with 750cc ...even if i go turbo charge..

thank for the thread..

^^ I would have gone with something smaller, but E85 requires a rather large injector...about 30% larger than a typical gasoline setup

Are you using steelbraided lines for fuel supply? because steel braided can wheap fuel and give you a strong gas smell.

It could be a leaking line from the FPR. Have you checked behind the block?

i went to church auto testing for a tuning. when everything breaks in it starts to smell like gasoline is leaking everywhere and it stinks...very bad i cant stand the smell of it. you got any ideas could it be the gas line to the intake manifold?

Um, there is no gas line to the intake manifold. Check your gas fittings and see.
