Secondary o2 sensor help
While removing exhaust piping, it slipped and fell supported only by the second o2 wires. Now I assume I have pulled one of the wires loose from either the sensor or the connector inside the car. The sensor appears to be in good shape so that leaves the interior connection.
I need to know where the wires run once they go through the floor into the interior (from underside of car) so I can look at them. Any help as to what I should expect to remove from the interior to locate the wires is appreciated. Thanks

Are you getting a code or something to make you think the sensor is disconnected somehow? What makes you think a wire came loose?
I would think it's more likely it came loose inside the sensor, I highly doubt you tore a wire loose inside the car, unless you scraped off some shielding from one of the wires on the edge of the hole and now its shorting out.

Re: (klungemonger)
I did not have a CEL prior to dropping it from the wires and now I have one. I didn't change anything mechanically, either.
Thanks for your help, I really want to take a look at the interior wiring just in case, though.

Well on the EJ/EK with d16y8 or B16 engines, there is a jumper harness that runs on top of the tunnel to connect the cabin harness to the O2 sensor. You should be able to get access to any of the wires you'd need to check by removing the console covers (armrest/e-brake one and shifter/cupholder one)
