my idle surges from 1k to 2k after my car is warmed up. when it is cold it surges from 1.5k to 2.5k. i just put a replacement engine in. its a sohc 94 civic dx. no coolant problems. sensors appear to be all fine. gaskets are fine never taken off. has homeade intake. no vaccuum leaks. i dont think its a fuel problem im not sure. when im in gear problem is gone. just when im not in gear is the surging problem. any wild or crazy minutely possible problem suggestions would be great cause its really bugging me and my intake makes it very noticeable inside and outside my car. thanks

Since you searched, you've seen the hundreds of other threads like this.

It would help if you could list the possible problems that you've investigated and ruled out. There's no point in starting over with all the same questions.

If you haven't actually searched, or testing any of the possible fixes listed in those threads, then you should go do that before posting anything else.
