scary brake noise
98 civic 4dr. Drivers side front brake assembly makes rattles when goingover bumps of any size, any speed. However, DOESNT make a sound when brakes are being applied. What can this be?

Re: scary brake noise (6gcivic)
Have you changed your brakes recently?
Rattle over bumps + no rattle when brake are applied = moving brake pad
Sounds like the pad's bracket is loose due to the bracket's condition. I dont know how the bracket is called exactly.
