saw a 92 civic with 157000 mi for 2900
Interior is pretty aged. Exterior is weather beaten. Looks like the guy didnt really care to keep it in good condition...no dents tho. I dont know what it is tho, ex, cx, vx. It is a 5 speed with moonroof and ac. any ideas?

Is the moonroof factory installed? If it is, it's an Si. To be sure, look for the rear disc brakes.

yeah, si if its original, does it have power or manual windows? i got my 92 sedan for 1500, but i guess hatches are a lot more desireable.

Wait, I guess he didn't say HB, is it coupe? I think only the EX coupe and the Si HB had the moonroof. EX didn't have disc brakes though, did it?

I bought a 92 hatch for $800 w/135k miles, it has leather and moonroof, but no power locks or windows, CX. But I just think I got a good deal.

Sorry guys, yeah it's a hatchback. I checked the hood, didnt see anything special.
If it was an SI I'd buy it. I highly doubt it. I was more interested in if the AC worked or not. I'm pretty sure the windows are automatic, I didnt see any rollers. All I know is that it cant be a VX or a DX...dont remember them offering moonroof as an option. It looks factory since the controls are mounted on the dash to the left, below the turn signals.

How many miles? At 150k for a 92, this guy drove it pretty good considering you can get from one side of town to the next in about 30 minutes, 20 if light traffic.

it's an SI. i'm all giddy. poor car needs a lot of tlc tho. might be a fun project car. 2 coats of paint, repaint the trim, new rims. tune up. are these easy project cars in general? i think i'll offer him 2300-2400 since the car has been beaten to **** and the door doesnt even open in the passenger side.
