s2k seats in del sol
Hi,
I bought my sol without seats therefore i don't have the seat rails and pan.
I tried to find pan and rails of sol but without any success.
Which civic has the same pan and rails as the del sol?
If the sol is unique i need to make some fab on the original s2k rails any suggestions or dimension (already taken but it would be better from you professional ) that i wont be wrong.
Thanks

Do you alread have s2k rails? You gonna end up making it a hack job rather than doing it the Right way. Find some junk *** seats somewhere and take the rails for the eg, then swap those over on the s2k. It's not that hard. I just did it last week

Yes i have the s2k rail,
I can get the pan from an eg but there is no way i can get the rails of a del sol,
therefore i must make some fab on the original s2k rails.
some one here done something like that before?
Thanks

Re: s2k seats in del sol
just made a research and the eg rails does not fit to the sol, they need easy fab.
I am going to stay with the original s2k rails and make some fab ,
Any one did this before and have any suggestion on how to do it correctly?

Re: s2k seats in del sol
Okay, i'm not one who gets upset alot, but dude, Get off of this using the s2k rails and cutting them and welding them just to make them "work". Do it the RIGHT way and SEARCH for Del Sol rails and seat pan. It's not that hard and i was two seconds away from giving you the link for them, but obviously you don't like the RIGHT way and would rather slap some make-shift seat rails that hold You and your Passengers in your car. I highly doubt anyone has done what you want to do, and for good reason, It's not SAFE. Do it right bro or just keep stock Sol seats in your car to save yourself from being ejected if in an accendent. Just my 2 cents

Re: s2k seats in del sol
First of all there is no need to get upset everything is ok. second if you have a link for the rails you can give it to me no problem.
you are right about safety nothing is not going to be unsafe.
Be sure that after me welding the s2k rails it would be stronger than the original sol rails.
Thanks for your advice.
