Hell no.
You'll need to cut the rsx-s muffler piping short enough to match your existing piping and weld the two together.
98 civic = 01 rsx-s?
I think not. It will definitely not bolt up. The piping size is almost 1/2 an inch different.
Bottom line, It can be done, but it wont be a bolt on. I spent $35 to get my 07 si muffler put on my 2000 civic hatchback.

Good choice IMO, most/all of the k20 equipped vehicles have mufflers with 2.25" inlets

I went from a fart can to the 07 si muffler. Yes, much quieter. However I have a cracked exhaust manifold as of right now. So it sounds raspy/louder.
When i get it fixed I'll make a sound clip.
