a little help here, my car is actin funny and its getting me sick. its a stock 98 civic ex. the problem im having is that when i hold the throttle to about 2500rpm it bounces up and down fast and when im driving at that rpm the damn car jerks up like crazy

anybody has/had this problem? i need to get this fixed asap

Pretty much gaurenteed it's your FIT valve under your throttlebody. Take the cover off with the 2 screws and remove the valve. Be careful it's spring loaded. Clean it and then tighten it until your idle is correct. The fit valve controls your idle when the engine Is cold. Had the same problem. This should take no more than 30 min and fix your problem.
