Rough running

Rough running
To start out my crankshaft pulley ripped off going down the interstate. I was able to drive home until battery went dead. Replaced new pulley (no damage was done to crankshaft) and all belts replaced as well. HERE IS MY PROBLEM! After Replacing the pulley the car barely starts and runs rough. Able to press gas until rpms increase but idles rough. Unable to place in gear and go in either drive or reverse. Car bogs down and cuts off. Please HELP! DON'T WANT REPLACE ENGINE!!!!

Re: Rough running
Check your timing, and do a compression test. Pray to whatever God you do that your pistons and valves didn't try to make sweet, sweet love. You also may have all sorts of fucked your bearings (especially your thrust bearings) up.

Re: Rough running
My thoughts was the timing as well. I'm in the process of checking it now but I was almost positive that it set at TDC when I replaced the pulley. Will let you know.

Re: Rough running
that wouldn't do it, that would just make the car not run/run rough. did you torque the **** out of that bolt when you put it all back together ??
