Rolling Rear Fender Wells
Ive got a 2000 civic and I have 16" rims with a 42mm offset with 205/45/R16 tires on it and its lowered 1.5" in the back...The problem is that my tires are rubbin when I corner...I believe its hitting the black strip right on the inside of the wheel well and I want to roll that up or whatever...I have heard of rolling the fenders but I have NO IDEA how to do it...does anyone know how to do this...thanks

jack up the car, get a baseball bat, stick it in wheel well, and tilt the bat so the handle is facing downward, and start rolling

Somewhat, i started to do it a little to my rear fenders and then got really sad when some of the paint came off and i stopped. I fixed it enough though so i'm not rubbing when cornering hard.

I have 18's and they do that with my front fenders when I corner. (maybe I shouldn't have gotten in that wreck )

Take it to a body shop and have them do it. It's not expensive. If you don't know what you are doing you could mess up your car, and it'll cost more money to fix.

If you take it to a shop you may have to wait till their "rolling technician"(don't laugh, 1 place called the guy doing it that) to show up. There are a few threads on here if you search including 1 with a DIY w/ pics. I was told to take a razor blade and cut along the fenderwell to keep the paint from cracking. Never done it that way though, just stuck the bat in and started rolling/bending.

have to be very careful, or it will fold fender wall very uneven. can also make put waves on the edge of your fender.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 2kstreetcivic »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so when you rolled it, you flaked paint of the outside??</TD></TR></TABLE>
when i rolled my old eg small amounts of paint chipped at the edge.
there is a special tool i've seen some people use. it bolts up to hub and has a skateboard like wheel which they use to roll. my friend told me autolink has something like that.
if you want a clean looking car don't do it.
