i am thinking about buying some eagle h beam rods. Do I have to modify anything to use them in my block?

no.u dont need to modify anything.it is a direct bolt on replacement.as long as u buy the right ones for d16z6. are u planning a engine rebuild or maybe boost it ? cause eagle rods are not cheap though.

if you use them with stock pistons you have to modify but just get some pistons while you at it

The block will need to be machined and the stock pistons use a different style wrist pin. You'll have to talk to a machine shop to see if they can make it work for you...

I have heard the notching thing before. I hust was wanting to see what everyone else was doing. I am buying the kit with the je pistons and rings and rods. im doing a n/a thing or maybe a little gas dont know yet
