I am in search of a set of piston rings for a D15B. The kicker, I cannot get JDM parts from Honda through my work. I was told by a couple people that D16 piston rings might work, but I was also told that the piston ring thickness was thinner on the JDM motor. Am I going to need D15B piston rings or can I use a certain D16 motor for it's piston rings?

I am sorry if I cannot post this question here. MODS, if you wanna move it. Go ahead, but I need to find a solution to my problem.

D16Z6 rings should be right

No, the Z6 rings are wrong. My D15B has the DX PM3 pistons and required the thinner DX rings. The Z6 rings are too thick to fit in the ringlands.

Sorry for not Archiving my search, but I am little behind on time. I work for HONDA and I need these rings asap. Where can I find stock sized rings?

Somehow I misworded my statement above.

It should read:

D15B7 PM3 piston rings fit the P08 Pistons. The rings are thinner than the 1.6l units.
