I'm a little confused. Are you trying to remove the flywheel bolts? I got them out by jamming a screwdirver between the teeth and whacking the wrench/socket with a hammer.

i am trying to get the flywheel bolts off yes, i figured this tool would also make it easier to install on my new motor, if its moving around alot i won't be able to get accurate torque specs, i thought about a screwdriver but don't want to damage the flywheel....

Breaker bar or 1/2 inch with a nice cheater bar on the crank pully and place it on the floor, and go to work with the flywheel bolts.

I've been in situations, where I was struggling for a long time trying to do something

and then I say **** it, and just buy the proper tool, and it takes 2 seconds to finish

use an impact wrench barely tries to move. i have also used a screwdriver wedged between frame and flywheel. You could make the tool in ten minutes with a mill or maybe 20 minutes with hand tools just measure and cut or weld something to a slotted washer and your good to go.

impact wrench isn't gonna work when you need to put the clutch/flywheel back on
