its kinda a bitch
you have to get a front clip.
chop off your lhd front clip and get the front jdm clip welded on.

it would probably be cheaper to import one and all the jdm haters need to hush if people wanna do jdm stuff let them theres nothing wrong with wanting an original honda..... not an americanized one

Its not that I am a JDM hater, but think of how much faster your car could be for the price of a JDM conversion???

ok here is the deal i have 2 hatches a 95 jdm sirII that is wrecked in the front and then I have a 93 hatch that is all straight and it would be easier to swap out all the parts (and cheaper) than to fix and register the jdm one

you would need the JDM dash... JDM the steering column... the JDM steering rack (it would be easier just to make it manual rather than tryin to re run all the hardlines for power steering)... the JDM throttle cable.. and alot of free time on your hands.. i know at least in my del sol the hole for the steering is there its just got a plate over it.. you would just have to take it out.. im sure there is alot more involved but those are just the pieces i have come up with cuz i once thought about doin it.. but oh well waste in my eyes.. drop it into the engine..

a usdm civic..cut in half at the fireall..is not "all jdm"..what the hells the point..u can build an american EG to perform the same or better for that matter so what for? to win points at a show?

no matter what u do..its still a cx/vx/dx/si usdm hatch...

A shop in Oregon did it. I think it was Fast Tracks. They raced it at the High School drags at S.I.R. in Washington. He claimed a B16A2 w/ J.E. pistons running 12.9 1/4 mile times. Said it cost $6500 for parts/shipping/labor.

just grab a drill and start drilling the welds out (do it from the engine bay), my buddy did it like 3 years ago but it's not much but it's just time consuming. and when you weld it up PLEASE do it correctly otherwise it makes it very entertaining for me when i clown your *** and please go all out not half ***, but don't do it until you have all the wiring harnest because it is all different, including the motor harnest also it's all different. the wire harnest that goes to the rear of the car is also different it is pinned all wierd.

why does mostly everyone on this board bash on JDM.

no doubt! what the hell is the point in bashing on here ne ways? Moderator PLEASE... but on to thte more important items.

Does anyone have any pics of the conversion? I am torn between a 98 civic Hatch and the RHD drive conversion for an EG. Both are gonna cost me close to 3k to start but the up side is the car already has all the power steering lines, throttle cable, I already have a RHD harness(will have to add some clipped wires..damn Japs and there plasma cutters) the EG is of course lighter than the EK and of course the "ohh **** look at that civic in your town and tghe surrounding 400 miles where no one has a RHD drive civic... so if you want to import one, pay the luxury car insurance, struggle with registering the car, and wait a few months to even find one or to get it here for that matter GO AHEAD! i am comfportable driving 45 mins getting the clips and spending a month working on the car??? isn;t that what the sport is about??? working on your car? modifing your car to fit your taste?? ohh wait i would rather BASH

Thanks for any help, pictures or links to the RHD drive conversion....

another one of you is proposing this? the rhd conversion has got to be the worst waste of money possible. once again, theres a reason why we have lhd cars in the US. you want to be all jdm....why not buy a jdm car?
