ReSealing headlights?
I had a pretty nasty leak into my stock ones and I broke the mounting clip thing that holds the bulb in place so I ordered black eBay Diamond lights (just OEM look but black housing). Would it be a good idea to go around the whole headlight seam with extra sealant before installing or are they generally OK quality wise?

Don't open them up, but yes run a bead of sealant. I used clear RTV silicone on my black housings. You can see it a lil bit in the pic, You can't see it when installed. Either they never leaked, or with my clear silicone I don't have any leaks or even condnesation.

Since ebay headlights usually have crap sealant, I would suggest resealing them for the best results. Get some butyl tape (aka window weld) and reseal them. Heat the headlights in the oven at around 250 degrees for 7-10 minutes. Run the butyl tape around the headlight where the original sealant is, reheat same temp and time and make sure to go around the headlight and tighten it up with clamps after so the glue makes a watertight seal. I just retrofitted a set of ek9 headlights and have done others, butyl tape every time.
