Which company makes a good black housing headlight set for 92-95 Civics?
I bought some eBay black housing headlights with amber corners for about $96 a few weeks ago. I wasn't expecting perfect fitment considering it was from eBay, and the age old saying "you get what you pay for". But they were really bad, they didn't even fit remotely good. I sold em on craigslist later that day. There's gotta be some other companies that make OEM quality/fitting aftermarket black housing headlights with amber corners. Anyone have any references? Also, some pictures would be great too if possible. Thanks

thats really surprising to me considering how popular and commonly modded these Honda's are. You'd think SOMEBODY would manufacture a quality aftermarket headlight assembly. I used to be into the MKIV VW scene and all the aftermarket eBay headlights always fit perfect

Everyone swaps black housing lights on. The OEM headlight housings are the best, as far as light quality goes. Unless you go HID, then some sort of modified Integra headlight would probably work better. I'm sure there's a way to make it work.

how is that done? Can you buy clear glass lenses and replace the factory ones? I did a similar thing to my old GTI and its called "Joey modding" headlights when you black out the housing. Wondering if this would be possible with my Civic

The most reputable aftermarket lighting manufacturer is probably TYC. All headlights and other aftermarket cheap alternatives are going to be hit or miss however. It's just part of the game. No one makes them as well or as accurately as Honda does. There's a reason OEM stuff costs so much.
