Replacing head gasket. Do I need any type of sealant?
I'm putting a dx head on a 95 cx and I'm using an ex head gasket. Do I need any other sealant on that gasket when I install? Thanks.

When i did my head gasket, used copper gasket spray. Seemed to work good, havent run car yet though
Just fills in so you have a better seal.

can i ask why you are using the ex head gasket? arent the water passages different for the vtec block? also, use RTV on the valve cover gasket in the corners

Josh, the motor I got from you was trashed after I took it apart to figure out how a motor works. The head was shot. How's your tranny?
I thought I could use an ex gasket on a dx/cx block I'll double check.
RTV, not honda bond?

Is copper spray pretty common? Do they carry that at normal parts stores?

Should I bolt down the head without any sealant? How about the intake manifold gasket? Any sealant there? Thanks.
