Replacement starter not working
I purchased a new starter and I installed it and it's not working. All the wires are connected and at first i thought it was a bad battery and so i gave it a jump start with my car and nothing just a click. I checked the fuses and they're fine. A side note I saw a bit of smoke coming out of the thickest wire to the starter (the top one) Any suggestions are appreciated.
