Replaced Front Brakes, theres still a squeeking noise? HELP
So a couple days ago I noticed that my car would make a squeeking noise while I would come to a stop applying my brakes. So today I bought front brake pads and installed them with no problem. I thought that it would stop the noise but the noise is still there. I lubed up the back of the brake pads and the sliding pins on the caliper but the noise is still there. When I try to come to a stop using the e-brake the noise is still there.
So I was wondering if you guys had any idea what the problem was, could it be the rear drums? It's not a grinding metal on metal noise, but more like a chirping noise. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
