Replaced cap/rotor, now car won't start!
I decided to do some preventative maintenence today and replaced the cap/rotor on my '98 EX, d16y8. After swapping the old parts for the new parts the car won't start. I believe I have the wires on right, and I've tried a few different wire positions and it still won't start. Put the old cap back on, still nothing. I know the cylinder position is 4-3-2-1 as you're looking at the motor. How do the wires go on? I searched, and tried the wire position the only helpful thread provided, but it didn't work. Are there any ignition components )coil, module, etc.) that could have been damaged if the wires were on wrong and I tried to start the car?

Does it crank over?.....
Start from step one.... you swaped the cap and rotor. Check the wires, specially the order in which you hook them up.

I think he means the spark plug wires' order. That's why I posted the pic as a reference to the order they're suppose to be in. Good Luck!
