Replace Timing Chain...?
I had my timing chain replaced at about 30-35,000 miles. I am at 105,000 now. When is it recommended to get your timing chain replaced? And how easy is it to replace it myself?

No. Honda now says 90-100k on a T-belt job.

Re: Replace Timing Chain...? (vaspects)
Houston Texas is severe service driving so I'd change it. What car? Changing it depends on your patience and experiance. Don't go in and half *** run thru it, Take your time and you should be fine. Look for a write-up on this board or purchase a manual. Good luck.
BTW I hate houston I'm ready to go home.

In climates where it get really cold and dry in winter, I have heard of folks changing them every third winter. They have a higher chance of breaking when they're really cold and then a starter just starts cranking. But that's the extreme for sure.
90-100 is very safe.

I believe the June issue of Honda Tuning had a nice DIY write-up.
