replace blower motor?
i'm disappointed in my A/C fan preformance . I was in brokenb20's 00' teg and the fan was blowing harder than mine in my 95' EH could.
after searching i was unable to see if these blower motors just wear out and so goes the fan's best performance.
i have cleaned the evap out while changing o-rings and the expansion valve. also all doors/vents are opening closing like they should.
since my A/C system has lots of new components it gets fairly cold (for having a black car w/ no tint), but i wish there was more volume from the fan i guess??

Re: replace blower motor? (NastyHabitzCRX)
mine "slowly" went out as well... to thepoint where i had to put it on hi to make it feel like it was on low so i replaced my blower motor took about ten minutes and it blows quieter* and harder than ever
good luck

now that OP's question is answered, mine makes a noise like something is rattling, almost like the fan is off a bit and hitting on something.. anyone experienced this? and found a solution other than replacing the blower. where is the blower motor and fan assembly anyways? car in question is a 2000 dx.

I used to have a noisy blower motor, then i bought one at the junk yard for 15 bucks and it solved that problem. It is located under the dash on the passenger side, three screws hold it in, really simple task.
