removing overspray off quarter window trim?
Ive looked it up googled it asked some friends and cant really find a good all around answer. The owner before me got some overspray on the window, the quarter trim, and side skirts .The window was easy just used some fine steel wool came off no problem but with the plastic on the trim and on the bottom skirts im a little more concerned since it is made of plastic. I want to do the least damage possible but not sure how to approach this. On the side skirts i used some basic home Isopropyl alcohol etc it cut it a little not much at all I just did a small test area. I have seen klean strip makes a stripper for plastic but the last time I used aircraft stripper it looked really harsh.
Ive been told to use the following:
Brake fluid
steel wool
paint thinner
paint stripper
sandpaper
tape(which i have seen ductape rip primer off a car before lol)
the list goes on and on.

I used the steel wool on the window of a older parts car i had it worked good on the glass. Yeah the sandpaper seemed like a very bad idea im gonna probly get a clay bar now. It didnt even cross my mind.
