hammer
i kid
if its like most you need to pull off the bottom case of the column and there will be a small hole at the bottom and take a small screw driver or nail and push it in the hole and work the tumbler out

Re: removing ign lock cylinder
You need the old key, a small phillips head screwdriver or a nail or something pointy, and a flathead screwdriver or a pair of pliars. You have to remove the trim around the column, put the key in and turn it, push a pin in, pull the cylinder out and lift a hook up.
This isn't for stealing a car as you still need the old key and I'm not sure if it can be done easily with the column in the original position.
