Default Removing heat shield from gutted cat?

Is this ok to do. The cat wont heat nearly as muchly as what it did before so it should be okay right?

i dont see why it would hurt its just like a crappy version of a test pipe that wont do anything good but make noise why dont you just buy a test pipe

Funds are really low I cant even afford 40 bucks or it would have been done already. Would it make a difference?

no i dont think so but you just ruined a perfectly good cat to gain nothing but noise
