Engine Removal
Ok i pretty much read a bunch of different topics on H-T and came up with this....please tell me if i have something wrong..im taking my d16 out
1: Disconnect all lines/vacuum lines from the engine
2: Prep. the engine hoist(cherrypicker) around the engine safely(arent their hooks or something?)
3: Unbolt the 2 motor mounts on the bottom (make sure the engine hoist is properly secured and jack it alittle)
4: Unbolt the top 2 motor mounts and take out
What do i do with the transmission? I cant remember if i read this but do i have to unbolt it or something
if missing anything please help me out this is my first time with something like this. Chad

I'm pretty sure that unless you separate the transmission you have to let the engine down though the bottom. When removing just go slow and watch closely incase you forgot to remove something.

Re: (stock_honda_coupe)
nah you can take it out the top since your using a cherrypicker. what i've always done. you also need to undo the hubs from the axles requires a 32mm. and and BFH or ball joint spliter. also need to take out the bitch pin and the unbolt the stabilzer (Spell check) lol bar from the tranny. also i always disconecct the two shock tower wireing harness and take the harness out with the motor seems to be alot easier that way. also there should be a good write up in the EF/CRX fourm so hope this helps.
