Removing door panels on 00 SI

Removing door panels on 00 SI
What is the best way to remove the door panels? I have to replace my drivers side mirror? is there an easier way to do this? or can someone give me the steps on how? thanks

uhhhhhhhhhh .............. do you mean the mirror panel???
you don't have to touch the door panels in order to do this.........
in the 00 si, all you have to do is "carefully" pry out the cover which is held by clips and hooks. pull it out straight towards you, when you feel it give a little, lift it straight up, it should come right off...............
on the flip side if you had a dx like me, you could just pry off a cap, remove a screw and it would fall off................
anyway............ detach the wiring, three nuts I believe, and it should come right off........... need anything else???

be sure to use a box wrench to take off the lower nut. pretty hard to get to.

its not hard...remove the speaker grill, take out the screws holding the door panel on. pop it out of the tabs, and push it down...stick a drill in there and take out the last screw. its easier than using a box wrench.
