I am wondering if you can replace just the top peice of the door panel that clips inside the top side of the door. I broke the one on my driver side door while trying to fix the window and hoping it is cheaper to replace than the entire door panel.

thanks!

Yes it is but I don't remember how that gets attached to the panel. I don't think it has any clips or screws. You should look and report back. If it just came undone from the panel you might be better off re-attaching it with some epoxy or silicone.

You broke it how? It clips on but if you broke the plastic of the door panel itself you're kinda screwed.

It actually did attatch right back in place. It is held on by small metal tabs that fit through slots on the top of the door panel and the tabs bend over (very gently) to hold it onto the panel! ----Lesson learned here: Check out the issue in the morning light before posting needless questions!! Well, maybe somebody will get some use out of the post anyhow?!

Thanks JDM!

yea, a very small amount of the plastic did break off, but the peice was still attatched back on very easily. Got by on the skin of my teeth with this one. I did learn a couple valuable lessons on this little quest tho!
