Removing Back Panel
How do you remove the back panel? I want to get tint on my car (96 honda civic 2dr ex) but the guy that's going to do it says that unless the back panel is off he's just have to cut a hole around the brake light area.

How much is it going to cost you to get it tinted? I did mine myself, I never did it before and I think I did good job, but it was a real pain putting it in, I was just wondering how much it was going to cost you. I didnt do the back window though, for obvious reasons.

Re: (SupraCivic)
1. Put the seats down.
2. Make sure the seatbelt are out of the way.
3. Take out the lock trim piece.
4. Take the retainer clips out.
5. Pull the cover away from the metal underneath.
6. Disconnect the 3rd brake light.
7. Take the cover off.
The last part is harder than you would think. You have to bend it and coax it into coming out. You just have to work with it. Once you put the seats down, you will see what you have to do. It is really pretty easy.

Re: (SupraCivic)
I'm getting it done at a place called Starlite. They're charging me $135. Don't know what kind of job they'll do though. Hopefully good. (fingers crossed)
