Default Reconnecting power steering eqipment

Ok, I had a friend do some engine work and he disconnected my power steering, what are the steps to reconnect it?

what did he disconnect? the pump, lines, or just the belt? more info please.

yeah it might be as simple as putting a belt back on. did he give you anything that he took off or what?

ok he took off the pump, bracket and belt

which part of the crank shaft does the belt go?

it should go on the outtermost part of the crank. when you line up the pump back on the bracket theres really only one slot the belt will run off on the crank.

the belt should go on the outter part of the pulley, at least thats how mine was (inside one-alternator, middle one-a/c, outter one-power steering)

cool, another piece of info I need is a pic of the engine showing how the ps bracket is placed

Why not just have your friend reinstall everything? Or buy a repair manual? It's really not difficult to install. Look at the parts, and it should be pretty obvious how and where they go.

Oh, and there's no need to "bump" your thread every 10 minutes.

ok I just finished installing it, how tight do your turn the wing nut for the belt?
