Default Rebuild Time??

My buddy's b series isn't doing to good. He has low compression on number 3 cylinder. 200,198,80,200. Other than the low compression in number 3 you could not tell the difference. The plugs look normal, it doesn't smoke when applying a load or anything.
Could it be a head gasket maybe? Is there a basic way to tell if the ring land let loose? Maybe a piston cracked or something.

Default Re: Rebuild Time?? (PressurizedSi)

provided nothing breaks and you have all tools and replacment parts it shouldn't take more than a day or two to pull tear it down rebuild and put back in.Don't start this with out a shop manual.
