Rear wiper stopped working after replacing hatch glass?

Rear wiper stopped working after replacing hatch glass?
I picked up a bronze rear hatch. It already had a rear wiper assembly, harness and clips etc. My rear wiper worked fine before swapping the item. I left my harness on my oem glass and used the motor/wiring harness that came on the bronze hatch.
I unplugged the clip on the drivers side that you have to pull out of the hole under the spoiler everything clipped back in and all wiring seems fine. Just no working? The rear sprayer still sprays but no wiping motion. I've already tried clipping in my old motor no work.. I even just used all of my oem stuff back on the bronze glass and nothing. I'm angry because I use my rear wiper and hate for stuff to fail for no apparent reason.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also the passenger rear defrost clip was cut off would that make it not work? it still sprays and the harness on the drivers side is what made it cut on I assumed.

Probably a 92-95 since the 96+ didn't have bronze glass AFAIK.
Your wiper wiring grounds at G553 which is at the middle of the tailgate. Start by checking to see if the BLK wire from the motor is grounded (unplug from motor first). Use a multimeter.

Went over all the wiring in the rear of the car, all seems fine. Checked the clips all out and clip fine still not working.

Except ... when he test mounted his original rear wiper, it still didn't work when on the bronze glass. So it is likely something to do with the wiring. OP: Please explain more about when you say: "Also the passenger rear defrost clip was cut off would that make it not work?" This might be relevant.

Re: Rear wiper stopped working after replacing hatch glass?
Ok I'll do my best to clear it up. I have a 92 hatch, I picked up a bronze rear hatch glass with wiper assembly complete and w/the harness attached and just disconnected @ the clip on the drivers side where it feeds into the car itself.
My car is a dx and had a wiper already and it worked fine. What I did was remove my spoiler, pull the harness from the hole in the chassis unclipped it removed the hatch glass assembly. I then placed my bronze assembly complete w/wiper and harness that came with the bronze hatch on my car. I plugged the harness into my chassis clip installed my spoiler realized the passenger side rear defrost clip was broken. I just cut it at the clip near the glass.
Now my wiper doe snot work, did it work before I cut the rear defrost clip off the passenger side? I have no clue.. could that be my issue maybe not but possibly? I got confused and assumed the motor was bad so I unclipped the motor and installed my motor from my original glass. Still nothing so I went ahead and removed the harness and just used the one originally from my car. I checked the harness before stuffing it back in the little hole and it all checked out (visually) also the ground under the lift gate panel is also fine.
