Not necessary... I've heard many people remove the motor and wiper and purchase the plug that the vx and cx have and viola! I am planning to swap my wiper on my Si out

My VX has the box but no motor/wiper. I'd say just plug that **** up with someone

yea thats what i thought hey had, theres no suck thing as all solid rear glass for EHs!

You can just buy the plug and install it, I'm not aware of any solid hatch glass for an EG. You will still need to use the black cover for the motor it basically is just a bolt that goes thourgh the glass. good luck.
