Ditto that. See discussion on buying the tool and bushings at http://honda.lioness.googlepag...hings
I see the tool available for $143+$15 shipping to PA at amazon.com right now.

This is indeed untrue. In what way would replacing the entire trailing arm instead of just the bushing it contains?
You will need a press of some sort. If you dont have one, buying one would be alot more expensive than you probably need. Unless you plan on replacing all sorts of bushings in your suspension, getting a hydraulic press or something like it would be overkill. The bushing on one of the trailing arms in my 99 Civic Si is also very eroded, so what I'm going to do is this:
Im going to take my wheels and everything off, etc. Im going to then remove my trailing arm and bring just it and the bushing to my local shop. A single control arm on a 1993 3dr civic will cost you around 250 bucks. The bushings on the other hand are around 100 for a set of nice prothane ones. Cheaper ones can also be purchased for under 30 bucks each. My mechanic quoted me only $60 an arm for labor. So the whole job shouldn't cost you much more than 250 bucks. Thats the price of one arm!

I wasn't talking about used arms. I am talking about OEM trailing arms from honda. Those have new bushings in them. When you start calling someone a moron, you should probably support your big talk by actually having an argument related to what they were talking about.
Check these sites and tell me i misread the prices:

Are you kidding me?? You want him to buy a whole new T arm when his T arm is perfectly fine? Replacement bushing are only 70 bucks, seriously. If his blinker bulb burned out would you suggest him to replace his whole car because it's easier!? lol

Re: (93egboosted)
I just got through changing bushings in two sets of arms for disc swap on my 93 and 95 hatches.
I got one set of rubber OEM replacements and they were a pretty hard job swapping, and cost about 40.00 each.
On the second set, I used the urethane because Autozone had them for 39.00 set.
They were easier also if you have access to bearing press.
I can't really tell any difference in ride between both cars with different bushings.
