rear trailing arm question
hello everyone. i have a question regarding my right side rear trailing arm, i have a 1996 civic hatch. my question is on the rear trailing arm there is a welded nut closest to the rear brakes and i was putting the bolt through and the welded nut broke off so i put a regular nut on the back to hold the screw in. im wondering if that will be okay as far as driving with that and strength or if i need to get a whole new trailing arm. thank you

the trailing arm?
The welded nuts are convenient but not always necessary. I'm
sure it will be fine with a regular nut. Use some blue Loctite if you
are concerned that it may come loose.

Re: rear trailing arm question
^^ yea where the control arm connects to the trailing arm. okay thanks for the advice i figured it will be fine i just wanted to make sure. and i dont really want to buy a new trailing arm if i dont have to. my car got stolen and they put the wrong suspension (from an eg) so we had some issues with the one side on the trailing arm thats why it broke off,..
