rear disk brake problem

rear disk brake problem
ok i did the conversion my self from a 1995 integra with abs and put it into my 1999 civic hatch with no abs the breaks work good. but the hand brake doesn't hold. now i tried adjusting it from inside but the bracket hits the hand brake due to over adjusting but still the pads just barely touche the disk a little.what should i do

check to make sure the ebrake cables are properly attched the the rear trailing arm, and routed correctly. You may have too much slack in the line... test this by jacking up one side of the car, spin the back wheel, and then bend the line with your hand... if the wheel stops, you've got too much slack in your line.

ok sorry i toke so long to reply but i tried that and yes i do have to much slake on the line but how do i get ride of it because i bought the brake line from honda for a 2000 honda civic si

just mount the lines on the trailing arm like they're suppose to, should be some obveous spots for them to bolt up to, with a little bracket and 10mm bolts. Also, make sure you have it routed into the car correctly, there are also 2 more spots to mount the lines near the gas tank, kind of hard to get at also. just poke around until you find spots for brackets and bolts to go, and mount them there
