Rear brake coversion bracket-drum to disc
Well I was kicking around ebay looking at cars, motorcycles and just random crap when I decided to look for rear disc brakes. Ive been wanting to convert my drums for quite some time. Well I came across these brackets and decided to see if I could find any info here...no luck. So im going to ask is there anybody out there that has purchased these? It seems like it would be a good alternative to swapping out your whole trailing arm. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW I just think there alittle overpriced.

You dont have to swap the entire trailing arm - you can just remove the drum hub and swap on a rear disc hub.
You will still need disc hoses and cables though

I dont want to sound like an ***, but did you look at the link at all? I understand that you can just swap hubs, but dont you need a place to mount the calipers? This would be the bracket needed. Please correct me if im wrong.

I was just sharing....
When i said "hub" i guess i meant rear knuckle. It has everything for the rear caliper and disc.
$75 is high for just a bracket

I agree $75 is alittle to much for two brackets and some bolts, but I will say being able to just reuse the hubs that are on my car and just get some discs, calipers, hoses and cables is nice. That and not having to pay to ship a whole trailing arm assembly is nice.

I keep thinking about these brackets and I kinda like the idea of them(not the price though). Just cause you dont have to screw with getting the spindles off and you dont have to use different hubs. So that leaves you with more money in your pocket. If anyones got an opinion chime in.
