Rear Disc Brake Swap... HELP!!
****PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST****
Took me a while, but i bolted everything on...
Integra 94-00 front and rear discs
40/40 prop valve
RS Master Cylinder
GSR Brake Booster....
All of this on a 92 civic hatch. So I'm thinking this is all good to go. Bled the brakes, went to test them out, and the pedal was going damn near all the way to the floor before i was getting any grip, so i decided to test the master cylinder, and unscrewed it from the brake lines... we were pumping and getting no action... I took the core to Autozone, bought another one (refurbished) we put that one on. Bled the master cylinder, attached the lines, bled the brakes 3 times, and now it grips hard sometimes, then other times it goes almost all the way to the floor. Sometimes if i pump it while i'm driving or coming to a stop it will grip again, it's not safe to drive. What could the problem be?

I'm going to do it again tonight... do you guys think i should do it with the car on? Will the extra vaccum pull the rest of the bubbles out?

so i kept bleeding kept bleeding... not seeing any bubbles in the line. Finally i said f it.. took it to the mechanic down the road. he pointed out that the MC seal was bad, so i went and got another one from autozone. I put it on, and I'm waiting for my roomate to get home so i can bleed em. keep your fingers crossed.

Re: Rear Disc Brake Swap... HELP!! (THC1107)
so my roomate gets home... we bleed. it works out perfect. Go for a test drive, and the brakes are fantastic... they grip like a my mom's 05 g35. I was excited... so on my way back to autozone to return the core for the MC. the brakes get increasingly tight without me applying any force. then by the time i get around the corner from my house they lock up completely. can't move the car. my roomate comes around the corner w/ a 10mm and we loosen the lines at the mc. WALA... rolling. drove the car around the corner and put it in the driveway. ****!! what is it now? could it be my bb/mc combo, or do i need to adjust the bb line?

when i did mine i did not swap the prop valve not that would cause the lock up could be a problem with the caliper perhaps?
how did you blead the breaks? get a compressor and use the compressor bleeder to bleed the brakes
other then that clearly seems to be something to do with the new parts you put on there
if it were me! i would change the calipers?

Brake Booster or Brake line leak. Also it could be a leak in the seal on the booster, had that problem happen before. Check for a hising sound near the booster to see if their are any leaks. Also is the pedal bolt to set the brake light/pedal to floor set right?
