Default rear air defusors on daily driver

i have a 93 coupe that i drive daily, i was looking into getting an air defusor for the rear bumper. just wondering if anyone else has one on their car and if they noticed a difference? also wanted to know if there is any disadvantages to them

only disadvantage I can think of is looking kinda funny with holes in the back of your car - especially to those who don't know what it is. Otherwise, no biggy.

why not?? just get the pretty chrome thingy y0. less air slowing you down and more gas mileage

imho, i think a rear air diffuser is overkill for a daily driver. it's not like your going 70+mph all day long. also i'm not sure, but i heard that cops be giving you problems for it. but it's your car man, do what you like.

if your car doesnt do like 12 secs or something people r gonna give ya crap...imo its fine just have the holes cut out and not have the chrome around it if your gonna do it...gas mileage

please don't. I have never seem anyone with one of those that didn't look stupid or half-assed. And no one (that I know of) has really shown any hardcore proof that you'll improve gas mileage.

Less wind resistance equals better gas mileage, but will it save enough gas to cover the 1hr plus it takes you to install it?

I have one...Not bad; looks alright. No REAL diff. when driving....just for looks IMO.
