Default Really weird clutch problems. Please help!

I just put my car back together.. its a 93 eg coupe with b18b1 with b16 hydro tranny. The problem is that my clutch is not engaging correctly and I can not figure it out. I bleed it a million times and the pedal will get nice and stiff but when I turn on the car, and push the clutch it will engage and I can move the shifter threw every gear perfect. But if I let go of the clutch pedal and try to push it back in it basicly doesn't engage the clutch anymore and loses pressure. But the weird thing is that if I turn the car off and turn it back on the clutch gets normal like if nothing happened. I bought a new slave and got a newer but NOT NEW clutch master cylinder. I do not see any visual leaks or do I hear any air getting in the system.

I would appreciate any comments on what y'all think it could be. Thanks

have someone hold the pedal down while you watch the slave cylinder. this will tell you if it has anything to do with the hydrolic system.

Something similar happened to me when one of the flywheel bolts backed out.

But when the clutch does engage it engages perfect. And it grabs really hard.. act 4 puck sprung, act pressure plate, and act lightened flywheel. More opinions please!!

Did you post this in the Transmission & Drivetrain forum ?

Sounds like a vacuum leak, but that doesn't make sense.
