Reader Question.
Ok heres the deal, I plugged my 1999 - 2000 Civic Si into a OBD-II reader. The Reader works but for some reason its not throwing a code. Could it be miy car that is giving me the problem?

Re: Reader Question. (ArthurBrazil)
A sphincter says what?....... Thats what I thought. lol
What are you asking? Is there a code your car is supposed to be throwing? I assume there is a check engine light.

tighten your gas cap. i get a check light every time i go to a certain gas station. guess the guy there just has a weak wrist. takes a day or 2 to clear. just a suggestion, i dont even know if that would throw a code or not.

If a reader is not pulling a code, it either is not a good connection, or your scanner is about as useful as this:
For those of you that don't know, that is a pile of horse $h!t.

use this:

That won't work on an OBD2 car. Only on 2 digit trouble codes. OBD2 has 4.
