re break in ?

Default re break in ?

hey i gotta civic that has been sittin in the yard for a few yrs. and i havn't run it since.


so my question is do i have to treat it like a new engine and break it in again ?

change and flush all fluids, change all gaskets,new cap ,rotor ,plugs,wires ,drain gas blah blah blah. alot you should do but up to you

timing belt and waterpump too

I would change out all the fluids and do a good tune-up. Wouldn't hurt to take it easy right at first but not necessary.

make sure the floor isn't rotted out... parking a car for some years on grass is never good. grass dies, moisture builds up and this is why so many floor boards are rotted out.
