ran into a problem with b16 swap
ok i got the swap out of a eg coupe and im putting it in my ek hatch today and i looked at the motor and its sitting up to far to the front so i'm thinking if its the rear bracket thing. Are the brackets the same? if not what motor can i get the right bracket from?

Re: ran into a problem with b16 swap (1sikhatch)
rear brackets for eg/dc with bseries are different than the ones for eks...
ek's are about 1.5 inches shorter....you will need a bracket out of a 99-00 civic si to put this engine in your car
you will also need to add a crank fluctuating sensor on the crank....
and obd2 injectors and alternator
hope that helps

yes, but the plugs are different.
if you're doing the jumper harness to obd1, you dont need it and as far as the rear mount. get the 99-00 si; b16a2 rear mount
