ESP altenator bracket issue h2b eg hatch

Re: ESP altenator bracket issue h2b eg hatch
This is why I am making my own. There is always the Bisimoto option to the tune of $130. I honestly would have somebody fab one up for you for that price. It would most likely be cheaper, cost less and you could have your car running in a day or two.
Or do what I did for my F2D swap. Drove with the battery and charged it when it was parked. GHETTO. Don't worry I am almost finished with the alt. bracket so I can DD mine too....
Just gotta figure out how to raise my hood about 4 inches to clear the IM.
Good luck.

I don't know about wrong bracket. Possibly made wrong? That looks way off. Perhaps an obd1 alternator will do the trick if you've got over chillin.

wow i was just about to order one of these for my crx but i was already leaning toward having one fabbed just cause i dont want to wait 6 long weeks too. If you dont mind me asking, what track bar are you running?? Because supposably the esp lower d bracket 1/2 over only works with esp ef track bar ...I run a k tuned track bar and i was told i MUST run the upper 1/2 over brackets due to the alt hitting the radius rod... ps i wonder if you can put maybe a washer or two behind that alt pulley and get it more toward proper alignment. i bet that would be a fun peice to remove

Definetly is off odd... I have had probably had less then 4 off alignment out of several hundred. Pretty good ratio if you ask me. Emailed you Kevin! Send back and will fix it or send out new one!
All D Alternator Kits are mocked off 88-91 Civic/Crx D alternator 3 ribbed belt and pulley. Didn't make sense to also have one for the 92+ Civic D Alternator (different far as mounting) that is 4 ribbed belt and pulley. Might as well use 1 with the biggest advantage, the 3 rib. OBD0 D Alternator also uses round plug same as OBD1 H22.
