Default Ran the B20 last night, 13s almost there

I went hopeing to be in the 13.9-14.2 range but my LS ecu doesnt have enough RPM to keep me out of 5th gear. I would hit the rev lemit at around the 1000ft and ride it until I finished the run. I know, why not shift to 5th? everytime I would I would get a CEL (Map code) and my car would bog horably and run a 14.4@ 91. If I had more gear and better 60ft's I think I would have made it into the range i wanted to be at. Normaly on street tires I trap around 97.xx, Slips below
anyways tell me what you think? I'll prolly be boosted within the next month or 2. Enjoy

Yeah I need some 22's. The 20's were spinning off the line and then hooking. They didnt to their job to well. And I was launching at 5,000-6000. Ive ran a 14.4@96.8 on street tires on this setup. and I run 2.1 and 2.2 60fts on street tires leaving from idle.

My SAFC says the highest revvs during my retarded revlemit to the finish line was only between 7000 and 7100. during those runs.

Uh doesn't the B20B motor makes its most HP at around 5400 to 5600rpms and the B20Z motor at 6400-6600rpms. Unless you have bigger cams simply over reving is because there is no power curve there. Get an LS head or a Vtec head first...

type si, where are you from? Jacksonville by chance. I am running the exact same set-up but on street tires, and hitting 14.4 also. LS tranny, LS ECU, and leave the ECU alone, till you boost it.

Yeah, if i were to mess with the ECU It would be Uberdata or Hondata. I didnt mean i was going to rev the **** out of it w/o it making the power there. It would be boosted and prolly with some crower turbo cams

14.3 still isnt too bad i guess, full interior. Ask VtecSchmetec, I can make my car light as hell in a hurry if i have to So i feel 100% about breakin into the 13's w/ a decent launch

Ran 21psi in the 20's BTW, Any tips at launching on slicks?????

Very respectable times bro.

Could we get some info on things such as weather conditions, vehicle weight, elevation, etc? Sorry, i'm just a stickler for that stuff.

mid-low 70's , Muggy tho. around 9 you could see dew on your car when waiting in the lanes to run.
Ummm its at Virginia Motorsports Park (VMP) in Dinwiddie. I believe its in the 500-600ft range. Its a pretty decent track i guess.
